THE daughter of one of the most infamous Disappeared victims of the Troubles has vowed to go head-to-head with Sinn Féin leader, Gerry Adams, for a Dáil seat.

The IRA was accused tonight of point scoring over the discovery of mother-of-ten Jean McConville’s body.

EIGHT of Jean McConville’s children, from twins aged six and 16, were in the house in the dismal, trouble-torn Divis area of west Belfast when their mother was abducted in early December 1972.

A woman wept tonight as she gave up hope of ever finding the remains of her mother, who was murdered and secretly buried by the IRA.
