SWEDISH Foreign Minister Anna Lindh was sent an email threatening her and her children two weeks before she was fatally stabbed while out shopping, the Foreign Ministry said yesterday.

Anna Lindh’s murder as she was shopping unguarded in a Stockholm department store, today evoked harsh criticism of Sweden’s security policy for government officials.
