Community leaders are appealing to the head of the council at the heart of the Grenfell Tower fire in London to cut ties with the organisation responsible for managing the high-rise block.

Looking at the Grenfell Tower disaster is "like peeling the layers of an onion", the leader of a nearby residents' association has said.

Consultation on which issues the Grenfell Tower public inquiry should examine has ended following more than 400 submissions.
