Eleven months ago, over 7,000 people descended upon Páirc Uí Rinn for the Dr Harty Cup decider between Midleton CBS and Christian Brothers College.

It will be an all-Cork Dr Harty Cup semi-final, and a repeat of last year’s decider after champions Midleton CBS got the better of DLS College in Dungarvan to set up a penultimate round against Christians Brothers College.

After a terrific encounter, Midleton claimed their second consecutive Rebel Óg Premier 1 MHC title at Páirc Uí Rinn tonight, while also gaining revenge for the 2017 decider which went the way of Glen Rovers.

High drama in Nowlan Park today as Midleton CBS progressed to the semi-finals of the Masita All-Ireland Colleges Senior ‘A’ Hurling Championship after accounting for Coláiste Eoin with a dramatic late, late goal.
