A US Baptist missionary detained on suspicion of child trafficking in Haiti said she would be ready to return again to the earthquake-ravaged country to work with children.

EIGHT American missionaries charged with child kidnapping in Haiti were back in the US yesterday and looking forward to homecomings, even as two others remained in a Haitian jail in an ordeal sparked by the group’s attempt to take 33 children out of the earthquake-stricken country.

Eight American missionaries freed by a Haitian judge landed in Miami, Florida, today, nearly three weeks after the group was charged with kidnapping for trying to take 33 children out of the quake-stricken country.
