Airline Flybe is expected to announce a new service to Cork and Dublin airports today as part of a major 10-route expansion out of Cardiff airport in Wales.

Cash-strapped families are cutting back on the annual sun holiday while the over-50s are taking to the skies more, according to the head of the Irish Travel Agents’ Association (ITAA).
