A 56 year-old man has been given a five year sentence for his role in what Judge Tony Hunt at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court called "a crime motivated by xenophobia and racism".

“I REALLY don’t know what I will do now,” said bewildered Dublin woman Rosaleen Hickey, one of 40 mothers who protested yesterday over the axing of childcare funding for adult education students.
