FIVE men have been arrested in connection with an arson attack last week on a casino in the northern Mexican city of Monterrey that killed 52 people, said state governor of Nuevo Leon Rodrigo Medina.

Workers were today continuing to pull bodies out of a burned casino in northern Mexico, where gunmen spread petrol and ignited a fire which trapped and killed at least 53 patrons and employees.

MEXICAN authorities yesterday began identifying 72 suspected migrants believed murdered for refusing to become hitmen for a drug cartel.
