The family of a two-year old boy found dead in an apartment on Saturday, have described as "vile" and "disgusting", messages posted online about the family, hours after the boy's lifeless body was discovered.

A Limerick man has told how he "lost the best part" of his life when told his two-year old son was found dead in his home.
