A 25-year-old man accused of the murder of Noel “Duck Egg” Kirwan in Dublin “is fully contesting the charge”, a court was told today.

An inquest into the death of murder victim Liam Murray has been adjourned after a High Court injunction was secured by his family yesterday.

A Dublin Sinn Féin member who was jailed for four years for IRA membership and who was freed on bail last month pending an appeal went back to prison voluntarily today.
