A duffel bag containing human remains was found outside a US biotechnology building in Cambridge, Massachusetts on Saturday morning, and one person was later arrested in connection with the grisly discovery, authorities said.

Peter Haas, who took over the family-owned Levi Strauss & Co. with his brother and helped build it into a socially-conscious clothing empire, has died. He was 86.
