Professional services giant Capita Asset Services is planning to increase its Irish-based workforce by 200 people inside the next two years on the back of a growing project portfolio and general growth in the economy.

Nama has awarded Capita Asset Services an €80m contract to service more than €40bn of loans held by the bank.

Capita, one of the UK’s leading professional services companies, is to double its workforce in the Republic from 800 to 1,600 over the next three years.

CAPITA Group is to buy the international financial services business of Allied Irish Bank,AIBIFS, for €33 million.
