Curragh trainers John Oxx and Patrick Prendergast have joined forces to form anew partnership ahead of the commencement of the new flat turf season at Naas on March 24.

The John Oxx-trained Rayna and in-form apprentice Gary Halpin continued on their winning ways when landing the €25,000 Connacht Oaks in Sligo last night.

The Dermot Weld-trained Voleuse De Coeurs gave Tuam-born apprentice Leigh Roche the biggest win of his career when justifying 6/1 favouritism in the Hacketts Bookmakers Irish Cesarewitch at the Curragh yesterday.
