Newspaper publisher Hollinger International has won a judgement from a Delaware court against its former chief executive, ex-Daily Telegraph boss Conrad Black.

An adviser to Daily Telegraph owner Hollinger International testified in the US that Conrad Black, the company’s founder, threatened members of a special committee investigating suspect payments he received.

Embattled newspaper baron Conrad Black has hit back at several of his biggest critics at Hollinger International, filing a lawsuit in Toronto claiming that they defamed him.
