A 31-year-old man has been sent forward for trial to the Central Criminal Court accused of the murder of his partner, Rita Apine, in her Co Kilkenny home.

The partner of a mother, aged 29, who was fatally injured last Sunday at her home, has been remanded in custody after being charged with her murder.
