A MAN alleged to have used nine identities to defraud the state of more than €250,000 has offered to plead guilty to all charges to save the state money.

A 63-YEAR-OLD man found to have 10 Irish and one British birth certificate, eight false British drivers’ licences and three passports has appeared in court charged with defrauding the Department of Social Protection of almost €250,000 over a four-year period.
