The Macra presidential and vice presidential elections will take place in the Irish Farm Centre in Dublin on Tuesday.

Hustings have been taking part across the country this month, offering members an opportunity to meet those contesting the presidential race.

The nomination process for Macra’s presidential and vice-presidential candidates has closed. Every two years, clubs elect a national president and three vice presidents.

The time is fast approaching when Macra members will be invited to elect a new national president for the 2015-2017 term. Vice presidents will also be elected in Munster, the north west, and eastern regions.
