Former Chelsea team doctor Eva Carneiro has broken her silence to insist the Football Association never requested she make a statement and effectively ignored some evidence in its investigation into alleged remarks made to her by Jose Mourinho.

Football Association board member Heather Rabbatts has expressed her “sadness and anger” at news of Chelsea team doctor Eva Carneiro’s departure from the club.

The Football Association has contacted Leeds to ask for El-Hadji Diouf’s version of events as part of an investigation into footage which showed the striker being racially abused during a match at Millwall in November.
