The southwest and northeastern corners of Ireland were united in celebration Sunday afternoon in Bord na Móna O’Connor Park as Antrim struck two goals very deep into stoppage time to salvage an unlikely draw with Offaly in Tullamore.

Wexford’s dreams of completing a clean sweep of all three Leinster minor titles for the first time since 1970 is still very much alive after they came through a stern test of their credentials last night in Tullamore, withstanding a late surge from a fiercely competitive Offaly side before wrapping up their win with an injury-time goal from Diarmuid Doyle.

Cathal Kiely proved the hero for Offaly as his personal tally of 0-20 helped the Faithful County to dispatch Dublin by the bare minimum after extra time in their Bord Gáis Energy Leinster U20 Hurling Championship quarter-final at Parnell Park last night.
