Receivers appointed over the assets of members of businessman Seán Quinn’s family say their living expenses should first be paid from personal accounts but not also from accounts frozen four years ago.

A €210,000 payment by Seán Quinn Jr which was raised by himself and his wife via a charge on their Dublin home has finally purged his contempt of court orders, a High Court judge has ruled.

Seán Quinn Jr walked free from the Four Courts yesterday as the High Court heard bankrupt billionaire Seán Quinn Sr wants to co-operate with the former Anglo Irish Bank and purge his contempt.
