Italian judges started deliberations today in Premier Silvio Berlusconi’s four-year-long bribery trial in Milan.

A Milan court today convicted an ally of Italian primer minister Silvio Berlusconi of one corruption charge, sentencing him to five years in prison, but acquitted him of another corruption charge, that of bribing judges.

AFTER the conviction of one of his oldest business and political allies for bribing judges, all eyes now turn to Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, due to face charges in an unrelated corruption case tomorrow.
