Ireland all-rounder Kevin O’Brien says the younger members of the squad are ready to make the “step up” to the big stage in the ICC World Twenty20 in India.

Max Sorensen and Kevin O’Brien each took three wickets as Ireland claimed their second win over Scotland in three days after easing to a seven-wicket victory in Belfast.

Kevin O’Brien hit an unbeaten 98 to lead Ireland to a six-wicket victory over Scotland as they defended their Division One title in the final of the World Cricket League in Amstelveen.
