SPAIN’S taking over the six-month presidency of the EU will be formally celebrated in Madrid’s Teatro Real, the royal opera house, later this week.

ALL 25 leaders of the EU gave their unanimous support to the Portuguese Prime Minister’s nomination as the next President of the commission.
