THE Curraheen Park faithful have been counting down the days to the start of the track’s premier competition - the Cashman Irish Laurels.

With many of the track stars of the past two seasons already retired to the breeding paddocks, it is good to hear of the reverse procedure with the brilliant Serene Rumble set to return to action next week in the first round of the valuable Vodafone Grand Prix at Harold's Cross.
