A car dealer being pursued by the Revenue for 10 years in a bid to recover a €4.97m judgment has been warned he is at “grave risk” of being jailed a third time for contempt over allegedly still giving the Revenue the “runaround”.

A car dealer has been jailed by the High Court a second time for contempt after it found he is continuing to give the Revenue the “runaround” in its efforts to execute a €4.97m judgment obtained nine years ago against him over unpaid taxes.
