DAVID HUMPHREYS is poised to captain Ireland on his record breaking appearance for Ireland at Lansdowne Road on Sunday.

Keith Wood has not been named on the squad to face Italy on Saturday. Rob Henderson, Kevin Maggs and Geordan Murphy were also not considered.
