THE Dublin-based anti- banking fraud software company Norkom Technologies has posted a year-on-year rise of 14% in first-half pre-tax profits and has said that it is well placed to increase market share in its core territories.

A STRONG performance from its operations in the Asia-Pacific region helped Norkom Technologies – the Dublin-headquartered specialist international software provider – increase profits and revenue in its latest financial year.

NORKOM Technologies is confident of ongoing profit growth, despite current global economic conditions, and has forecast a 20% increase in profits for its current full year, which runs until the end of March.

Financial crime and compliance solutions company Norkom has announced a 53% increase in revenue to €17.6m and a 50% improvement in EBITDA to €3.1m for the half year ended 30 September 2007.

Financial software company Norkom has credited a strong sales performance for a 38% increase in revenues to €25m for the year ending March 31.

PROFITS at Norkom Technologies, a developer of software for banks to detect financial crime, were static at €1.6 million in the year to end March 2005.
