A drug dealer’s girlfriend will have to leave a luxurious house he built for them from the proceeds of his criminal activities, the High Court has ruled.

The Criminal Assets Bureau has secured orders for the seizure of approximately €146,000 from a Co Sligo family which the bureau says are the proceeds of crime.

A Sligo man who was “well-known” to gardaí has been sentenced to seven years in prison after being caught with over €67,000 of cocaine in Co Roscommon.
