Retired businessman Jim Reynolds has launched High Court proceedings aimed at preventing a financial funds and its receivers from selling, marketing and advertising for sale three properties he owns.

A businessman whose jailing was ordered earlier this week over not co-operating with a bank-appointed receiver has purged his contempt of court and apologised for his previous actions.
