A man annoyed because he had to push his child’s buggy onto the road due to a number of parked cars on the footpath later returned with a screwdriver and damaged 27 vehicles.

A man in custody for an alleged assault on a pensioner has received two new charges arising out of the same incident and offered apologies when they were put to him by gardaí.

A man has been banned from driving for 20 years after he drove dangerously from Cork to Clonakilty in the early morning, crashing into a Garda car, repeatedly failing to stop for police, and only finally coming to a halt when gardaí employed a stinger which burst the tyres on his vehicle.
