Local residents today pledged to object to the installation of floodlights at Croke Park because of the GAA’s ‘disrespectful’ attitude towards them.

THE cost of converting Croke Park to facilitate soccer or rugby internationals “is impossible to calculate”, according to Stadium Director Peter McKenna.

The Croke Park Area Residents' Committee will meet with stadium manager Peter McKenna tomorrow night to discuss incidents following last month's All-Ireland football final.
