AN IRISH marine engineer is among the multinational crew of a Danish-owned tug boat that has been captured by pirates off the coast of Somalia.

A Danish-owned tugboat with a British captain, Irish engineer and four Russian crew members was seized by pirates off Somalia today, the vessel’s owner said.
