FIFA has announced that Football Association chairman Greg Dyke has returned a €21,700 watch he was given as a gift.

Greg Dyke insists he will not resign as Football Association chairman after receiving a watch worth more than £16,000 but has called for an end to the culture of gifts being given to football officials.

Watches each worth more than €20,000 were handed out to a representative from all 32 countries at the World Cup, according to FIFA’s ethics investigators.
