The owners of the cross-river ferry service in Cork harbour have told Cork County Council they don't believe it's economically viable to put on a second ferry at peak evening times.

A 17-year-old boy arrested for looting during the riots which erupted at the “Love Ulster” rally in Dublin in February walked free from court today after the prosecution was withdrawn.
