ONE of Irish hockey’s most influential coaches has added his voice to the growing dissatisfaction within the sport with Ireland senior women’s coach Gene Muller’s plans to base the national squad in Dublin on a full-time basis.

IN THE HOPE of an all-Cork clash in the final of hockey’s Irish Junior Cup, arch rivals Cork Harlequins and Cork Church of Ireland will be rooting for each other this weekend as they contest separate semi-finals of the competition.
