One of the country’s most exclusive boys schools, Glenstal Abbey in Limerick, last year recorded a €4m income as the number of students attending increased again.

Broadcaster Charlie Bird has said students should not pay any attention to comments from the founder of The Summit yesterday, where he said he preferred Trinity graduates when hiring.
