Cian O’Connor laid down an early marker in his bid to represent Ireland at the Olympics with a double clear in the US nations cup on Friday night.

BILLY TWOMEY almost gave Irish fans the perfect ending yesterday to the Fáilte Ireland Dublin Horse Show but, in the end, he had to settle for third in the feature event, the €200,000 Longines Grand Prix.

It was three-in-a-row for Ireland at the Failte Ireland Dublin Horse Show today with Billy Twomey and Shane Breen taking outright victory in the first two classes and Cian O'Connor sharing victory in the Puissance.
