Last Sunday’s Cork county final made it real for Donncha O’Connor.

It is fitting the decade should close with two of its most consistent teams, from a Cork SFC viewpoint that is, meeting in the county decider.

Just as they did in 1990 and 1991, St Finbarr’s and Duhallow, of course, will contest the Cork SFC final, at Páirc Uí Chaoimh.
