UPWARDS of 200 nurses yesterday staged what they described as a ‘silent and dignified protest’ when Health Minister Mary Harney came to Tralee to open a new unit at Kerry General Hospital.

A TAX-driven holiday homes scheme is set to be marketed at the back of the former Killarney Ryan Hotel — also currently being re-developed following its sale last year.
