A NIGERIAN student who faced deportation a day before sitting the Leaving Certificate at a Dublin school has been given a reprieve until after his exams.

Teachers and students have condemned the Gardaí's moves to deport a Nigerian man who is due to sit his Leaving Cert in Dublin next week.
