A mobile phone forensic analysis has given evidence in a double Limerick murder trial that one of the accused telephoned the partner of one of the victim four times three hours after the murders had taken place.

The partner of a Limerick man who was shot dead along with another woman in his home has told a trial one of the accused arrived at her house the day of the killings to offer his condolences but that he “seemed agitated”.

A trial of two men accused of a double murder in Limerick has heard the victims “met death in a violent fashion.”
