SCIENTISTS in Ireland and Australia have made a big breakthrough in the development of a gene therapy that reverses the most aggressive form of muscular dystrophy.

IRISH research could lead to a range of treatments for a muscle-wasting disease affecting dozens of boys in this country alone.
