The owners of a salon gutted by a fire which forced the evacuation of a major shopping centre have vowed to be back in business within days.

Most of the traders in Douglas had no idea what chaos awaited them until early morning radio bulletins alerted them that the Cork City suburb had been badly flooded.

THE cremated remains of a man which went missing on a Ryanair flight from Cork to Gatwick have been returned to his family.
