Gardai have confirmed the discovery of a body in Co Donegal as that of Nodlaig McDaid from Muff.

Gardai searching for a Donegal woman missing since the early hours of New Year’s Day are examining a car discovered at Buncrana pier.

The gardai at Letterkenny are appealing for the public’s help in tracing 26-year-old Nodlaig McDaid who has not been seen since the early hours of New Years Day.
