SOCCER legend George Best is likely to be released from intensive care today following his liver transplant.

Soccer legend George Best was tonight said to be in “excellent form” as he recovered from his life-saving eight-hour liver transplant operation.

Manchester United legend George Best was this morning doing "very, very well" after a liver transplant at the Cromwell Hospital, west London, medical staff said.
