A South African drug mule who believed he had swallowed pellets containing gold and was carrying a briefcase of confidential documents has been given an four year sentence at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.

A "passionate environmentalist" who caused damage totalling €3m in an arson attack on the Irish headquarters of the Jesuit Order has had his sentence adjourned a second time.
