St Patrick’s, chasing a third successive Louth SFC title, were given a huge fright in the senior championship quarter-finals over the weekend.

The most exciting of the weekend’s six Louth SFL matches was one involving teams in the relegation zone.

A total of seven players have withdrawn from the Louth senior football panel ahead of the All-Ireland SFC qualifiers.
