SOME Germans are calling for a public roasting of the oracle octopus who correctly picked the winner of all six of their soccer team’s World Cup matches – including a bitter defeat to Spain on Wednesday.

An octopus “oracle” – born in England, but raised in Germany – has predicted a German win over England in Sunday’s World Cup game, it was revealed today.
