The boss of the parent company of the radio station behind a notorious royal prank call has come under fire after dismissing the outcome with the phrase “s**t happens”.

The Australian radio station embroiled in the royal baby hoax scandal has said it tried to make contact with the hospital again after recording the prank call.

Police in London have contacted their Australian counterparts about speaking with the two radio presenters who made a prank phone call that led to the death of a nurse.
