A DOCTOR who examined a man alleged to have been assaulted by gardaí found abrasions on his forehead and nasal area and a bruise on his left bicep, a court heard yesterday.

THE Irish Hospital Consultants’ Association (IHCA) has described as “utterly bizarre” the failure by the author of a report into the Midlands’ Breast Care Crisis to interview the consultant at the centre of the affair.
